The adapter set can be used to retrofit almost all commonly available ceiling supports, making it easy and quick to install plasterboard and other construction boards on ceilings. The set, which includes two adapters and two holding clamps, simplifies positioning of the boards and temporarily holds them in place, leaving both hands free to fasten the screws securely.
The adapters are fitted to existing ceiling supports and form a support ledge at an already installed board, which can then be used to easily place and position the next board. The holding clamps then temporarily secure the free edge of the board to the framing and hold it firmly while it is being screwed into place. Using this combination of adapters and holding clamps makes light work of recurring tasks like installing several boards.
The holding clamps are designed for a maximum material thickness of 40 mm (board and framing). The adapters are made from robust fibreglass-reinforced plastic (FRP). The Adapter Set for Ceiling Supports is a quality product Made in Europe".
